Happiness
Level Measurement Survey (SPTK) aims to measure the level of happiness
of the population according to demographic characteristics, health, and
economic conditions. Data collection began on June 23 s / d dated July 18, 2014, with a sample of 130 households.
Data collected:
a. General description of household members includes: name, relationship
to head of household, gender, age, marital status and highest education
attained ;.
b. Description individuals selected respondents include: health,
education, employment and income, environment and safety, family life,
social life, leisure and political participation, as well as subjective
assessment of the level of happiness and life satisfaction
c. Description
housing and household assets include: extensive tenure and residential
buildings, the quality of house building (floors, walls, and roof), the
amenities of home (main lighting source, the primary fuel for cooking,
places to defecate, and the source of drinking water ) and ownership of household assets for the comforts of life.
Statistics Generated:
a. Indicators of life satisfaction / happiness according to the demographic characteristics of the respondents. This indicator can be obtained by comparing the level of satisfaction
and happiness of people on several criteria, such as the classification
of the region, age group, gender, marital status and education.
b. Indicators of life satisfaction / happiness according to health conditions. This indicator can be arranged by comparing the percentage of the
population with the level of life satisfaction and happiness levels
specified according to physical health (health status and functional
difficulties) and mental health (intensity of positive emotions and
symptoms of depression).
c. Indicators of life satisfaction / happiness according to economic conditions. By looking at and comparing the level of life satisfaction and
happiness of the population by income, employment status and level
playing field, as well as housing conditions it can be seen the pattern
and level of life satisfaction and happiness of people with different
economic status.
d. Indicators of life satisfaction / happiness according to the amount of free time. This
indicator can be arranged by comparing the percentage of the population
with the level of life satisfaction and happiness levels specified by
the amount of free time.
