Opening of National Labor Force Survey Training in February 2019

The National Labor Force Survey is one of the surveys conducted by Statistic Offices (BPS) which aims to obtain basic employment data. These data include data on labor force participation rates, open unemployment rates, employment opportunities, average salary / wages of working people, the number of people working according to the business field and others. Considering the importance of employment data, careful preparation is needed, including training National Labor Force Surveyofficers so that they have readiness when conducting data collection. Statistic of Batu Municipality held training for National Labor Force Survey officers which lasted for 3 (three) days, from January 28 to January 30, 2019. The training was attended by 8 enumerators from Statistic Offices (BPS) partners and 4 supervisory officers from Batu Municipality Statistic Offices (BPS). The officers were given training each for 8 hours per day with a national instructor, Mr Agus Sudibyo, SE. MM which is the Head of the Social Statistics Section of Batu Municipality Statistic. At the opening of the training, the Head of the Statistic of Batu Municipality, Mr. Bagus Sunggono, SE, MM advised that officers should pay close attention to the material delivered by the national instructor and when the data collection in the field could do its job well so that it could produce accurate data.
