Coordination of Updating Employment Data for Batu Municipality

The Manpower Department, as the youngest department within the Batu Municipality Government, is currently making improvements to its employment database.

Collaborating with lecturers and students of Government Science at the University of Muhammadiyah Malang, the Manpower Office will update the employment data.

On November 2 2023, BPS Statistics of Batu Municipality received a visit from UMM and the Batu Municipality Manpower Service. In its role as data developer, the Batu Municipality BPS team provides input on the questionnaire that will be used for updating. The concept used in this activity is adapted to ICLS 13 which has also been used by BPS.

With this updating activity, it is hoped that sectoral data in the Manpower Department can be used as material for making policies in the field of employment that are more targeted.
