BPS Batu Municipality Conducts Training for September 2026 Susenas and Q3 Seruti Field Officers

August 27, 2026 | BPS Activities

BPS Batu Municipality organized training for field officers for the September 2026 National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas) and the Quarterly Household Economic Survey (Seruti) for the third quarter of 2026, as part of preparations for field data collection. The training was conducted in stages, comprising self-study, online meetings via Zoom on August 24 and 26, 2026, and full-day face-to-face sessions on August 27–28, 2026. Twenty participants attended the single-class session, which totaled 37 hours of instruction.

The training was designed to strengthen officers' understanding of the concepts and definitions associated with the September 2026 Susenas and Q3 2026 Seruti, including the documentation used during data collection. Additionally, participants were equipped with knowledge regarding Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and survey implementation strategies to ensure accurate and high-quality data collection. The training material was delivered by Eka Cahyani, S.ST., supported by a team responsible for technical aspects, instruction, and class management.

Overall, the training proceeded smoothly, and participants demonstrated an improved grasp of the material. This was evidenced by an increase in the average score from 75.00 on the pre-test to 80.00 on the post-test. As a follow-up, prospective officers are encouraged to further review the training materials and utilize the compiled Q&A summary. A discussion channel remains open via a WhatsApp group with the National Instructor (Innas), allowing officers to seek guidance on any points requiring clarification prior to the actual field data collection.
