BPS Batu Municipality Conducts Training for Statistical Working Area (Wilkerstat) Processing Staff

BPS Batu Municipality (Statistics Indonesia of Batu Municipality) conducted training for three Statistical Working Area (Wilkerstat) processing staff members on September 7–8, 2026, at the BPS Batu Municipality office. This activity is a crucial step in preparing personnel capable of supporting the establishment of the geospatial framework and Wilkerstat content for the 2026 Economic Census. Driven by a spirit of learning and collaboration, the staff were equipped with the understanding and technical skills necessary to process regional data meticulously, systematically, and in accordance with established guidelines.

The training focused on strengthening the staff's ability to understand and process Wilkerstat information, including updating the regional master list, maps, and spatial data derived from fieldwork. The processing materials adhered to BPS guidelines, covering topics such as managing the Local Environment Unit (SLS) Master List, processing building points, editing digital maps, and processing regional content. Through this learning process, the staff are expected to be better prepared to execute their duties systematically, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and high-quality processing results.
