Abstract

In 2020, the Poverty Line for Batu Municipality is at the level of IDR 509,886 per capita per month or an increase of around 8.87 thousand rupiah compared to the Poverty Line in 2019 of IDR 501,016. People with per capita expenditure per month below the poverty line are said to be poor. Along with the increase in the Poverty Line, the number of poor people in Batu Municipality increased by around 230 people from 7.89 thousand people (3.81 percent of the total population) in 2019 to 8.12 thousand people (3.89 percent) in 2020.
