Abstract

The economy of Batu Municipality in 2024 as measured by the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at current prices reached Rp 22,154.31 billion, while GRDP at constant prices reached Rp 13,588.14 billion.
The economic growth of Batu Municipality in 2024 grew positively, which amounted to 5.04 percent. When viewed from the production side, the Transportation and Warehousing Business Field experienced the highest growth, at 12.33 percent. While from the expenditure side, the LNPRT Consumption Expenditure Component experienced the highest growth, at 12.60 percent.
The economic structure of Batu Municipality in 2024 dominated by the distribution of the Wholesale and Retail Trade business field; Car and Motorcycle Repair by 18.77 percent; Other Services by 16.02 percent; Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries by 14.50 percent; Construction by 12.69 percent; and Accommodation and food service activities by 10.73 percent. The five categories of business fields contributed to the economy of Batu Municipality in 2024 by 72.71 percent.
